Before planting the marijuana seeds soak them in a cup of water overnight.

Containers

A marijuana plant can grow with extensive long roots. Finding the perfect medium you always need the have adequate water and nutrients to be able to reach the roots and a container that can hold the plant in upright position. A suggested size of the container should hold between two to five gallons of water in order to support with a growing plant up to its mature state.

You can either also use a large box or several long rows that can hold at least six to twelve inches of soil which has an advantage for the restriction of the marijuana roots and less repeated watering of the plants.

As for pots, the right size of pot has its equivalent of amount of light needed per square foot. For a moderate lighted garden, use 15 to 25 watts per square foot, with one to three gallons of containers. For gardens needing more light energy – you need at least over 25 watts per square foot or use of a half day or more of natural light (sunlight) with the use of three to eight gallon containers. The smallest pot recommended for full grown plants is eight inches or one gallon, a good size of pot for the starting plants to be transferred after two months. Make sure that the pot has several holes underneath for adequate drainage.

Soil

Now let’s get to the very most important medium in growing marijuana, the soil. It serves as a reservoir for water, air and nutrients. A good preference of soil is suggested to be peat moss. There are peat cups available and are pressed off into different sizes. Try to always remember that marijuana really grows fast, so that means it needs frequent supply of water and higher nutritive needs compared to other indoor plants. Though there is no perfect soil in growing these plants. Just look for a medium that can withhold proper get prescription drugs without prescription drainage, adequate nutrients seen in the soil, and having good ph balance of 7.0. Look at a soils physical, chemical and biological state, having the best texture, nutrients and ph level. Check twice a day if the soil is moist enough

Lights

For “grow lights”, there are so many to choose from. Choose from a variety of Fluorescent, HID, HPS, etc. Remember that all types of growing light should have a reflector box around them. Then direct the light towards the plant. The ideal ratio would be RATIO: 1 400 watt lamp = 1 square meter of plants (+/- 25 plants) Hang the lights 2-3 inches above the top for maximum exposure.

Temperature

In terms of temperature; At least make sure that indoors you would have at least a temperature of 70 F or 27-30 C. Anything higher than 75F will be too hot and will damage the growth of your plant. Make sure when watering your plant, it would always be luke-warm. Cold water provides a shock to the budding seeds, adding stress and possibly delays its growth.
